Doctorow és un escriptor extraordinari. Ragtime, Billy Bathgate, The Waterworks, Ciutat de Déu, Vides de poetes. Absolutament imprescindibles. Aquesta novel.la no és la seva obra mestra, però està bé. Però, sobre tot, llegiu les altres, sens falta, urgentment.
